In der Fotografie malen wir Fotografen mit Licht. Kein Foto kann ohne Licht entstehen. Die Kunst dabei ist es, das Licht zu kontrollieren und für das Foto brauchbar zu machen. In der Landschaftsfotografie arbeitet man fast ausschließlich mit natürlichem Umgebungslicht (die Sonne als Hauptlichtquelle). Durch Wolken kann dieses Licht diffuser werden oder zum Sonnenuntergang wird es weich und golden.
Trotzdem ist es oft nicht einfach, das Licht ganz ohne Hilfsmittel so zu kontrollieren, dass wir am Ende ein perfekt belichtetes Foto in jedem Pixel haben. Deswegen greifen viele Landschaftsfotografen gerne auf Filter zurück. Diese gibt es in unterschiedlichen Formen:
- Graufilter (ND-Filter => Neutral Density)
- Grauverlaufsfilter (GND Filter => Graduated Neutral Density)
- Polariationsfilter
- und noch einige andere, die aber weniger von Bedeutung sind

Die Firma NiSi hat mir vor Kurzem den neuen 100mm Filterhalter aus ihrem Haus zugeschickt und ich durfte ihn ausgiebig testen. Da ich besonders weinwinklig fotografiere mit meinem 14-24mm Objektiv von Nikon, habe ich das Problem der gewölbten Linse vorne am Objektiv. Daher sind Schraubfilter hier keine Option. Viel besser sind aber ohnehin quadratische Filter mit einem Stecksystem. Genau dieses System bietet der 100mm Filterhalter.
Wer mich schon länger verfolgt, weiß, dass ich vorher den S5 Filterhalter besessen habe. Mit meinem alten 14-24mm f/2.8 von Nikon benötigte ich besonders große Filter mit einer Breite von 150mm. Mit dem neuen Z Objektiv und dem NiSi Filterhalter ist es mir nun möglich, trotz dieser extremen weinwinkligen Brennweite mit 100mm Filtern zu fotografieren. Das ist natürlich sehr platz- und gewichtsparend. Für mich war es das wichtigste Argument für das Upgrade.
Der NiSi 100mm Filterhalter ermöglicht die Verwendung von bis zu zwei 100mm breiten Filtern. Das Set besteht aus zwei Hauptkomponenten, einem Frontfilterhalter und einem Filterhalter-Adapterring. Der Filterhalter kann schnell auf den Adapterring aufgesteckt werden, nachdem der Filterhalter-Adapterring an der Befestigung der originalen Sonnenblende des Objektivs angebracht wurde.

Design des Halters
Die Filter lassen sich super einfach einschieben und wieder herausziehen. De Bedienung ist das mit sehr einfach geworden. Auch ein Wechseln der Filter ist während des Fotografierens damit sehr einfach und die Kameraposition muss nicht verändert werden.
Fazit
Für mich ist der 100mm Filterhalter ein echter Gewinn! Der Fakt, dass man mit einem Weitwinkelobjektiv trotzdem 100mm Filter verwenden kann und damit so leicht und kompakt unterwegs ist, ist ein echter Gewinn. Der einzige Nachteil ist der fehlende CPL Filter. Aber damit komme ich zurecht. Für mich ist der Halter jeden Cent wert. Die Filter an sich sind von NiSi sowieso einsame Spitze. Denn man hat keinen Farbstich in seinen Fotos.
